RATES FOR 2010Minimum rental period is one week at the rate of US$800.00Rate for two weeks: US$1400 Rate for three weeks: US$1700 Rate for four weeks: US$1900 Longer stays will qualify for even further discounted rates. Ecuador's official currency is the US dollar. (Rates are subject to change until reservations are under deposit) INCLUDED IN THESE RATES: Accommodation for up to six persons; (If accommodation is needed for more than 6 persons - family gatherings, group reunions, etc., please contact us - we may be able to help you out with additional accommodation nearby.) Over 2000 square feet of comfortable, tastefully furnished and fully-appointed living space, comprised of a living room; fully equipped kitchen; dining room; two extra large bedrooms (one with queen bed and one with two double beds), each with en suite bathrooms. All rooms are completely furnished and ready to occupy; additionally, there are porches and a private patio for the exclusive use of the residents of Casa Quinde; (The two upper rooms are our office and a storeroom and will not be accessible.) Three hours daily of support (six days a week) from our own housekeeper/cook who will provide maid service and weekly change of bed and bath linens. She can also use this time to prepare a meal for you or perhaps assist you in shopping for your own meal preparation, do your personal laundry and ironing, and generally assist in making your stay more comfortable; Basic Supplies Basket with a starter supply of juice, coffee, tea, milk, sugar, spices, paper products etc. Additionally included is the use of: A washing machine, iron and ironing board; A prepaid cell phone with local contact numbers; Wireless Internet access; A DVD player with a flat-panel TV; (We have a small selection of DVDs but many more are available for rental nearby - or bring your own); Parking is available for one vehicle. There are no extra charges, i.e. cleaning fees... there is no additional tax on the home rental fee. Tipping is entirely at your discretion. Casa Quinde is a privately owned home (not a part of the hosterías), however all of the amenities of the hosterías, Hacienda Cusín and El Monasterio de Cusín, are at your disposal - e.g. their gardens, restaurants and public areas. NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL RATE are any charges for the offerings of the hosterías which you have used and for which there is a charge, e.g. horseback riding, DVD rentals, restaurant meals & beverages from the bars. (There is no charge for access to any of their public areas.) Any such charges will be billed to you at our special Resident's Rate by the hosterías. These charges will include a 12% sales tax (IVA) and 10% for service. Casa Quinde is not a business of Hacienda Cusín or El Monasterio de Cusín... it is a private home offered for rental or exchange directly by the owners. "Break-Away" RENTAL RATESIf, after a stay at Casa Quinde of a week or more, you would like to explore further the splendors that Ecuador has to offer and then return to Casa Quinde, the combined length of your entire stay in Casa Quinde will determine your rental rate. So for example... stay at Casa Quinde a week and then take off to the Galápagos - and, or, the Cloud Forest, the Costa or the Oriente... spend some time in Quito (check out the site: My-Quito.com)... then return for another week at Casa Quinde... you will qualify for the two-week rate. These "Break-Away" stays are good over a period of up to three months from the initial date of your visit and will be added together in increments of full weeks.DEPOSIT PAYMENT CANCELLATIONSEXCHANGESHome Exchanges can be arranged by... »eMail (click here)« ... make us an offer. We will be happy to consider a home exchange almost anywhere in the world! And they need not be simultaneous exchanges. Homes for exchange with Casa Quinde need not be alike in size or situation... something totally different may be quite workable.
